Mr. John Hibschweiler, age 82, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 at his home in Lexington. He was born February 21, 1943 in Buffalo, NY to the late Gerald J. and Mary Elizabeth Vogel Hibschweiler. He was a retired mechanic and motorcycles were his passion. He loved anything with two wheels and a motor, especially the cruisers. He was often perceived as a “tough biker”, but was a complete gentleman and really just a great big teddy bear! His moto for the last several years has been, “God’s got this!”
Mr. John is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathy Hibschweiler; his son, Lee Albert Hibschweiler; two daughters, Christine Marie Hakes and Lori Ann Kehr; two brothers, Rob Thompson and Paul Thompson; his sister, Karen Hall; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Judson Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 11 AM with service starting at 12 Noon.
