We are sad to announce the passing of Beatrice Madeline (Wadsworth) Godbee. Born May 8th 1953, Died November 8th 2025She is survived by her husband of 54 years James Anthony Godbee and sons Christopher Lee Godbee (Wife Holly Lee Ann), James Byron Godbee (Wife Cindy Thorn), 5 grandchildren Mariel, Jessica, William, Lauren, Amelia and 3 great grandchildren Hunter, Carson, Ryder. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold Wadsworth Sr, Dorothy Wadsworth and her siblings Margaret Wadsworth, Harold Wadsworth Jr and grandson James Michael Godbee.
She was a career LPN in the medical field for over 30 years and a member of the Episcopal Church. She was a graduate of the Calhoun Community College Nursing Program.
She will be loved by many, missed by all and remembered as a selfless loving person who shared all she could with anyone around her.
There will be a memorial service held at Spry Funeral Home in Athens Al on Saturday Nov 22nd from 2pm utill 4pm.
