Mary Frances Ward Baswell, 87, of New Hope, passed away Saturday.
She was preceded in death by husband, William Fred Baswell; parents, G. W. and Mary Ward; sister, Jane Stewart and nephew Michael Varner Ward.
She is survived by her children, Jackie (Burt) Rowell, Cathy (Sam) Baker, Marty (Amy) Baswell; grandson, Josh (Shannon) Baker; granddaughter, Ella Baswell; great-grandchildren, Noah, Ellie, Anna, and Ollie Baker; brothers, George (Diane) Ward and Jackie Ward; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Doug Browner officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Baker, Glenn Cooper, Brian Duncan, Kevin Dunn, Jim Lovelady, Swede Scarborough, Trae Ward and Mark Whitten.
Interment will be in Baker Cemetery.
