Wanda (Pollock) Williams, age 79, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation and services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a private family graveside service.
A devoted mother, Nana, sister, and friend, Wanda spent her life making others feel beautiful, cherished, and cared for. Her hugs, humor, and unwavering love were felt by all who knew her.
Wanda was a proud and devoted mother to her three children, and the most loving Nana to her seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She found her greatest joy in spoiling her grandchildren, hardly ever uttering the word “no.” Her greatest happiness came from time spent with family.
Survived by her children, Daryll Burgess (Joann), Dennis Burgess (Lisa), and Monda Russell (Phillip); seven grandchildren, Nikki Rickard (Michael), Blake Burgess (Kayla), Lance Hendrix (LeighAnn), Natalie Burgess (Adam), Brandie Garner (Harrison), Ryan Hendrix (Emily), and Brooke Olive (Nathan); and seventeen great-grandchildren. by her brother Sonny Pollock (Linda), sisters Mae Marks and Linda Mann, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wanda’s love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
