Larry Chester “Mr. Breeze” Rutledge, 67 of Guntersville passed away at his residence Friday November 7, 2025.
Larry was born in Indiana September 22, 1958, the son of Radford Lyndel Rutledge and Lillian Light Rutledge. After high school he served briefly in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. He later worked in Construction.
He is survived by his children: Christy Rutledge, Mariah Vinson, Jeremiah O’Rourke, Sylvia O’Rourke and Halley O’Rourke; nine grandchildren; three sisters: Barbara Burgess, Sarah Dunn, Rebecca Rutledge and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin’s other relatives and many dear friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lyndel and Lillian Rutledge and a sister: Lynnette Dutton.
Mr. Breeze’s family chose to honor his wishes with cremation. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted his family with those arrangements.
