Charles Alvin Hight, age 83, of Corner, passed away Saturday, November 08, 2025.
Charles was an avid deer and turkey hunter. He was an Alabama football fan. His greatest joy was fixing and repairing things for family or anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Hight, and his sister, Jamice Barnes and brother, Butch Hight.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Sandy Wilson Hight; daughter, Michelle Capps (Jeff) and son, Matthew Hight (Amber); grandchildren, Caleb Hight (Maggie) and Gage Lisby (Allie); great grandchildren, Rowan, Scout and Ezra; several other relatives and loved ones.
Funeral services will be Monday November 10, 25 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial. Bro. Buddy Sparkman will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday 1:30-2 pm.
