Spencer Brian Wimborough, 28, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away at his home on Monday, November 3, 2025.
Spencer spent 5 years in Elkmont, Alabama where he was of the Christian faith. Formerly a volunteer firefighter, he spent his professional career working as an Equipment Operator. In his free time, Spencer spent his free time fishing and tinkering around the house. Spencer loved trucks and tractors as well as farming. Spencer truly enjoyed buying and selling used farm equipment. He kept a friendly demeanor and never met a stranger.
Spencer is preceded in death by his grandpa Bob Sheffer, grandma Grace Anne Crawford, grandma Jerry Snyder, mamaw Marilyn Wimborough, great grandma Juanita Sheffer, as well as his great grandma, Evelyn Rominger.
Spencer is survived by his mother and father, Pam (Joe) Snyder, father, Lowell Wimborough, grandparents, Carol Sheffer and Ed (Claire) Snyder, one brother, Robert Wimborough, Uncle Bill and Aunt Shelly Sheffer, Uncle Brian and Aunt Bev Crawford, Aunt Heidi Sheffer, Aunt Kim and Uncle Terry Bishop, Uncle Tom and Aunt Lisa Hayner, Uncle Jim and Aunt Jan Snyder, Uncle Alex and Uncle Tom Are, as well as his great aunt, Martha (Roger) Goings, multiple cousins: Asa (Kelsey) Sheffer, Guy (Page) Sheffer, Carley Sheffer, JD Sheffer, Brant (Melissa) Bishop, Robin (Camden) Parkhurst, Amanda (James) Thompson, Chelsea Crawford, and Brooke Bishop. Spencer was also a special uncle to Ezra, Ivy, Sage, and Texal.
A Memorial Service will be held in Spencer’s honor at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home at a later date.
