Larry D. Scott “Blackjack”, age 73, of Decherd, Tennessee, passed away on November 5, 2025, at his residence. He was born on September 26, 1952, to the late Daufus Williams and Dimple Scott in Winchester, Tennessee. He was a hardworking man who spent much of his life as a truck driver and liked farming. Everyone knew him as a man who never met a stranger. His friendly smile, easy conversation, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. Whether at a truck stop or a local store. His strong work ethic, sense of humor, and kind heart will be forever remembered by those who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Hampton Oliver, Jr; devoted friend and ex-wife, Wanda Scott. He is survived by his son, Shirro Price; sister, Mary Frances Hayworth; a host of cousins and friends.
