Mrs. Wanda Glenn Dotson, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 in Lexington. She was born September 25, 1939 in Jackson to the late Otha Edward and Lessie Tyler Matlock. She enjoyed helping people in need and was a retired social worker and a member of Pleasant Plains Baptist Church in Jackson. She enjoyed quilting and was in a quilting club that made quilts for the police department. Mrs. Dotson was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Glen Morris; one son, David Morris; her brother, Hollis Matlock, and her sister, Doris Welch. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Mr. Kenneth Carl Dotson; her two sons, Greg Morris (Karen) and Donald Morris (Phyllis); a her daughter, Stacey Davis; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Morris; her step-children, Dwayne Dotson, Connie Dotson, and Susan Blodget; 27 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2025 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Mifflin Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 2-8 PM and on Thursday, 10 AM until time of service at 2 PM.
