Daniel passed in peace Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 34. He was the loving son of Denise Ann Zigler and Eric Gene Zigler. He was the cherished younger brother of Salem Roberts and cherished older brother of Jonathan Micah Zigler. He leaves behind his partner, Jeremy Meyer and is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
When he was little, he would go into the garden and eat tomatoes. That cultivated his love for gardening at a very early age. Daniel’s early years were fondly spent growing up in the woods in Sandpoint, Idaho, foraging huckleberries and going on adventures.
Daniel always had a song to set the mood and sometimes fantasized about being Frank Sinatra. He loved to be in the kitchen. He had a passion for it. It went beyond any simple meal. That’s why Thanksgiving was one of his favorites – especially momma’s stuffing. And as for mom, he would call her at least once every day.
He had a special talent for cosmetology, graduating from Paul Mitchell the School with a Master’s in Cosmetology and was state certified/licensed. Near the end of his life, he had the gift of working with special needs children who came to the specialty children’s salon where he worked.
Daniel will always be remembered for his resilience, his tenacity, his gentleness, his kindness and for his deep love for family and friends. Daniel had a heart for always trying to help solve problems and the needs of those he loved. Daniel will be missed now and forevermore and loved everlastingly.
He leaves behind for his partner three kitties: Toph, Kara and Monkey and his beloved dog, Lilo.
A celebration of life will be held on his birthday, November 30, 2025, between 2-4 PM at 110 Winter Wood Drive South, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
For those wishing to donate in lieu of flowers there has been a special fund set up in Daniel’s honor. The proceeds will all go to “Spoiled Rockin’ Kids Salon and Spa” where Daniel worked directly with children with special needs, styling and cutting their hair.
