Jerry Lee Minor, 66, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
Mr. Minor is survived by his wife, Susie Minor; mother, Christine Minor; siblings, Mary Hereford (James), Diane Clemons (Fred), Robert Minor, Orline Minor, Angelina Showers (Bob), and Barbara Minor; step-children, Whitney Drane Crunk (Jason), Emily Drane and Tyler Drane; grandchildren, Griffin Holt Crunk (Ashley), Aidan Crunk, Kyraya Echols, Gracelyn Long, Scarlet Drane and Blakely Drane; special niece and nephews who Jerry was like a father to, Robert Jerome Minor “Ducky”, Christine Jordan Minor “LaLa” and Pete Minor; Goddaughter, Jamie Herford, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Jerry is preceded by his father, Robert Lee Minor, Sr.; brothers, David Lee Minor, Willie Minor, and Christopher Minor; and step-son, Robby Drane.
Mr. Minor is remembered as a loving husband, father, son, and friend. After 35 faithful years of service, Jerry retired from Huntsville Hospital, working with logistics. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all of his family, but really cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren. Jerry has a knack for cooking and was known for many of his tasty dishes, like fried fish fillet.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, with the celebration of life following in the chapel at 4:00 pm with CW Turner officiating.
