Jerry Rankin Terrell, 84, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Hamilton, AL and was a factory worker having worked at Sunshine Mills and Tiffin Motor Homes. He loved being outside, working and staying busy. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God.

Services will be Sunday, November 2, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Kelley, Bro. Murlin Johnson and Bruce Terrell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Willadean Terrell; daughter, Rhonda Johnson (Murlin); son, Bruce Terrell (Candy); grandchildren, Latasha Hall (Jeremy), Tiffany Swinney (Terry), Erin Grace Satterfield, Miranda Satterfield and Tiny McDonald; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Terrell and Rodney Terrell and a sister, Rita Tice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Quilla Lucille Terrell; two brothers, Buford and Phillip Terrell and two sisters, Pat Lytle and Deborah Elscott.

Pallbearers will be Ben Bolton, Hagen Raper, Aiden Hall, Rodney Belue, Jerry Lindsey and Scotty Terrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Tiny McDonald, Kevin Pharr and Drake Wallace.
