On October 22, 2025, the Lawrence County VICE/Narcotics Unit, with assistance from Lawrence County Community Corrections and the District Attorney’s Office, executed a search warrant at the residence of Avery Cooper in the Town Creek community.
Agents encountered Christopher McBride on the property, who attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended.
During the search, agents recovered over 56 grams of methamphetamine, more than 150 grams of synthetic marijuana, and drug paraphernalia consistent with the distribution and resale of illegal narcotics.
Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
