Betty J. Long, age 80 of Jasper, peacefully passed away on October 20th, surrounded by family who loved her dearly and will miss her. She was a long time member of the VFW. She also loved playing pool and eating lunch with her friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday, October 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her Husband-Chester Long, Sr.; Son-Chester Long, Jr.; Mother-Leona Call; Brother-Earnest Rash.
She is survived by her Daughters-Shelly Williamson (Steve) and Dawn Long; Son-Carl Long; Sister-in-law-Vickie Rash; Brother-Calton Rash (Joyce); 6 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren.
