Joseph Glen Brooks, 64, of Fort Payne, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025, at his home. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 7, 1961, to the late Joseph O. Brooks and Louise McKeehan Brooks. Joey was a dedicated and dependable truck driver for over 20 years. He was a hard worker and took great pride in providing for his family. Even though the past couple of years were difficult as he battled cancer and illness, he continued to be strong and resilient.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Lori Brooks, daughter Carly Brooks Waites (Nathan) and Cory Brooks (Leslie); sister Rita Smith; and grandchildren Hunter, Emma, Bentlee, and Tanner.
A memorial service will be planned at a later time.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of services.
