Ronald Edwin Quinn, 90, has peacefully passed from advanced age. He died in the close care of family and hospice at his home in Huntsville, Alabama on October 13th, 2025, at 8:10 p.m.

Born January 1st, 1938, in Corinth, Mississippi, he was the only child of Walter Quinn and Ernestine Reynolds. Ron grew up in Mississippi and Texas, and after attending Mississippi State basic training in the Army he received his master’s degree from Purdue in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He married Margaret M Connell in 1960 and the two stayed together until she passed away in 2016. Ron was a retired mechanical engineer who worked for General Motors and General Electric designing jet engines in the Midwest and moved to Huntsville in 1992 where he further pursued his career. In his retirement he did well as a freelance investor in the stock market.

Unequivocal head of household and provider for his family, he is survived by his two sons, Jason E Quinn and James P Quinn.

Special thanks to our friends, our family overseas, and the staff at Amedisys and Home Hospice for their continued support in this time of grief. We will forever remember the time and care you provided for our family.
