Doris Jean Ferguson Steward of Fort Payne, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home. She was a retired sales clerk with Bargain Town.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the 1 p.m. hour of service.
She is survived by her sons Sterling Steward and wife Virginia, Marcus Steward and wife Pamala, and Kirklan Steward and wife Karen; grandchildren Shelley Steward, Cameron Steward, Matthew Steward, and Jacob Steward; and great-grandchildren Jordann, Colton, Weston, Adalynn, and Brooklynn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Steward and brothers M.H. Ferguson and David Ferguson.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of services.
