Sheila Rae Vesper

Sheila Rae Vesper, 75, of Athens, AL: passed away Friday October 10, 2025, at Hospice Family Care.

She was born July 26, 1950, in Florida to Milton Baxter and Berneitha Harkless Baxter.

Sheila was a longtime member of 1st Methodist of Athens. She sang in the choir, active in Potter’s Hand, and loved spending time with her granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband; Daniel Vesper.

Sheila is survived by one son; Todd Vesper of Dacula, GA: one daughter; Amanda Young and husband Stephen, one sister; Sherrie Beury and husband Tom, three grandchildren; Virginia Young, Amariah Young, and Lauren Young.

In Lieu of Mrs. Sheila Rae Vesper, the family has requested to please make donations to Potter’s Hand or First methodist Church.
