Tommy Joe Mazingo, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born September 19, 1958, in Mississippi, to Thomas Monroe Mazingo and Juanita Reeves Mazingo. He was employed by Colsa Inc., in Government Contracting and Security, prior to his passing. He retired from Colsa after 38 years of service and then worked for Chennga for 2 additional years.
He was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church, enjoyed being active while skating, hiking, and discovering waterfalls. He loved listening to and playing music and going to concerts.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and a grandson – Xander Keith Wright.

Wife – Betty Mazingo,
Daughters- Sheree Wright (Jake) and
Kerrie Mazingo,
Sister – Teresa Myrick,
Grandchildren – Dausin, Ravyn, Jaxsin, Harley, Elexia, and Johnsiey.
