Daniel George Whited, 86 of Arab passed away Sunday October 5, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Whited was born September 28, 1939, in the state of Alabama, the son of Worthy Whited and Hazel Brown Whited. He worked as a custodian for Huntsville City Schools.
Daniel is survived by a son: George Whited; two daughters: Cynthia Darlene Whited and Samantha Delaney (Keith); thirteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren; a brother: Richard Whited (Pat); sister: Ann Smith; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by three sons: Danny, Johnny and James Whited, his parents: Worthy and Hazel Whited, a sister: Shirley Mae Nunn, and two brothers: Calvin and Bill Whited.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 7, 2025, at Gober Funeral Chapel, Brother Bobby Sims, officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, Holly Pond, Alabama in Cullman County with Gober Funeral Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Delaney, Brian Delaney, Jakob Delaney, Tony Whited, Thomas Whited and A.J. Paulin.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 7, 2025, at Gober Funeral chapel from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
