Billy Northington Jr. Billy Wayne “Junior” Northington, Jr., was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025.

Junior was educated in the Jackson Public School District and graduated from Callaway High School, where he was known for his determination and kind spirit. He later attended Itawamba Community College to continue his education.

From an early age, Junior was gifted in drawing and creativity. He loved to sketch and express himself through art, a talent that brought joy and inspiration to those around him. Beyond his artistry, he was known for his gentle heart, easy smile, and the way he made others feel welcome and cared for.

Above all, Junior was a devoted father. His two children, Madison Northington and Devaughn Alex Northington, were the pride and joy of his life. He poured himself into their lives with love, encouragement, and support, and his legacy lives on in them.

He is survived by his loving parents, Billy Wayne Northington, Sr. and Lovie Ann Northington; his children, Madison and Devaughn Alex Northington; his siblings, Greg Farr, Trinnisa K. Northington, and Aretha Marcella Northington; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Junior was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hoyle B. and Sally Berry Northington, and Arecola and Venetta Freeman.
