Kimberly D. Bates Rossi, 45, of – ObituaryTinton Falls, N.J., passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, N.J.
Kim was born and raised in Decatur and had been a resident of New Jersey since 1990. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 1990, she began her career at Morgan Stanley, before moving to Lehman Brothers, and finally, to the New Jersey Devils, where she served as Director of Human Resources. She loved the Crimson Tide, the New Jersey Devils, her friends, and most of all, her family. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
Kim was predeceased by her parents, W.H. and Ilene Bates. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Tony Rossi, and her children, Alexandra and Matthew Rossi. She is also survived by her sister, Veronica Clarke, and her brother, David Bates, both of Decatur, as well as her parents-in-law, Robert and Rosanne Rossi, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin and Kristin Rossi, all of Woodbridge, N.J.
Memorial visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, N.J., on Saturday, June 1, 2013, from noon to 2 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alexandra Rossi College Fund.
