Donald Curtis “Curt” Bean, 64, passed away on September 19, 2025. Curt was born on April 24, 1961, in Pueblo, Colorado, the eldest of four children.

Curt primarily called Mobile, AL home and had a deep love for the coast. He spent many fond years in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, serving several tours as a private contractor supporting the Missile Defense System for The United States Army. Curt traveled all over the U.S. during his career as a database administrator until his recent retirement in June of 2025.

Curt was passionate about his family, Alabama football, golfing and good food. He leaves his beloved mother, Hellan; daughter, Danielle and her husband; and his loving grandchildren whom he cherished greatly. He also leaves his sisters, Tammy, Karla, and Paige and their families.

Curt Bean led an extraordinary life and will be remembered mostly for his infectious laugh and his love for his daughter.

The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Avenue SW, Huntsville, AL 35805.
