Mrs. Joan Diane Collins-Nadeau was born December 11, 1962 in Highland Park MI to her parents the late Mr. Emery Austin “Buzz” Collins and Mrs. Jane Beverly Ford Collins. She would spend her childhood in Michigan graduating high school and beginning her adult life. She raised her children and worked in various different vocations throughout the years including as a waitress, Janitorial Services and Hotel Maintenance. She eventually found her way to Wayne County, TN enjoying a quiet life with her significant other Mr. Tim Stutts. She was of the Christian faith and in her leisure, moments could be found working in her vegetable garden, flower garden and possessed a skill for baking as she was famous, among those who knew, her for her “triple fudge muffins”.  Still, she held no other moments closest to her heart than the moments she spent with her family and friends. Mrs. Joan Diane Collins-Nadeau passed from this life on September 19, 2025 in Waynesboro, TN making her stay on this earth some 62 years, 9 months and 8 days.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons Mitchell Nadeau (Tully Brouse) of Waynesboro, TN and Shawn Collins; daughter Rebecca Nadeau of Detroit, MI;  grandchildren Evangeline Brouse and  Mazicain Nadeau as well as many other family, friends and dear loved ones.

At this time no services are scheduled.

Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC is honored to serve the family.
