HUNTSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of a Huntsville woman:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, has claimed the life of a Huntsville woman.
Patty S. Hagler, 59, was critically injured when the 1996 Buick Regal that she was driving left the roadway, stuck a mailbox and a bridge. After the impact, the Buick overturned into a ditch and was submerged in water.
Hagler was transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment where she later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.
The crash occurred on Little Lones Road near Moores Mill Road, approximately seven miles north of Huntsville, in Madison County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
