Flavil Wayne McCaig, age 82, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at his residence.
Wayne was born March 3, 1943 to Austin and Sula Lee McCaig.
A private graveside service will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at Franklin Memory Gardens
He is survived by his son, Douglas McCaig (Tracy); daughter, Patricia Smith; grandchildren, Patrick Gargis, Brenley Gargis (Dylan), Katie Dean (Allen), Kendal McCaig; great grandchildren, Lyllianna Maxwell, MaKenzi Maxwell, Camden Maxwell; brother, Gary McCaig (Virginia); and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Betty McCaig; parents Austin and Sula Lee McCaig; brothers, Jerry McCaig, Hollis McCaig, Chester McCaig; sister, Elowise Blankenship; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Enhabit Hospice and all who helped for all of the wonderful care given during such a difficult time.
