Obituary of Sara Ann CampbellSara “Ann” Campbell, a longtime resident of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 09, 202, after a lengthy battle with a respiratory illness. Ann was born on Friday, July 2, 1948, in Columbus, Georgia to George D and Sara Lee Hodge Casey.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents; George and Sara Casey, her sisters; Faye Marshall and Georgina Casey, and her brother; Charles Alan Casey.

Ann is survived by her son; Steven Sharp his wife Samantha, her daughter; Lori Campbell Scott, her husband Jason, her sister; Wanda Carol Marsh (Terry), her brother; Robert Waldrip Jr (Anita), and her three beloved grandsons; Tyler Scott, Turner Scott, Theodore “Cody” Scott, who were the lights of her life.

Ann will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those she loved left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Professionally, Ann served for nearly 30 years as a Member Services Reprehensive at the Huntsville Area Association of Realtors (HAAR), where she built lifelong friendships and supported countless real estate professionals with grace and dedication. Later she worked as a receptionist at GATR Technologies, where her warm smile and kind demeanor quickly endeared her to co-workers and visitors alike.

Visitation will be on Sunday September 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Funeral Home 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811.

Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Celebration Chapel, on Sunday September 14,2025 to begin at 3:00 PM with Bro. Don Cox Officiating, burial to follow in the Chapel Garden at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
