Jeffrey Alan Schreier, age 58, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born on February 1, 1967, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Frank Schreier Sr. and Cindy Schreier.
Jeff was a man of many talents and deep passions. A dedicated chemist by profession, he was also a skilled and passionate photographer. He had an eye for beauty and a love for capturing it—often out on the lake, in the woods, or wherever the light happened to fall just right. Jeff thrived in the outdoors, whether fishing, camping with friends, or connecting with fellow photographers to exchange stories and advice.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Katherine; his beloved daughter, Clarice Schreier; his mother, Cindy Schreier; and his siblings, Frank Schreier Jr., Laura Carroll, and Jerry Schreier. He also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and creativity. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Frank Schreier Sr.
Jeff’s love of life, nature, and people will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the images he captured.
A memorial service will be held on September 12, 2025, in Cedarville, Ohio. Jeff will be interred in New Burlington Cemetery, Chester Township, Ohio.
