Geneva Greene Cobb Grisham of Elkmont passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 95, after a battle with dementia. She cherished time with her family and friends deeply. We know we can’t have you back but we are happy knowing the Lord finally has you and the burdens of this world are over. We will miss you so much. Goodbye to a wonderful woman, beautiful mother and grandmother.
Geneva is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Irene. Husband Bill Grisham. A daughter, Dian Henderson, Siblings; Obeline, Jesse Jr, Earl and Jerry, and one granddaughter, Rebecca Lowery. She is survived by her daughter, Mickie Lowery, Siblings, Peggy, Faye, Ann and Bobby. One son-in-law, Jimmy Henderson. She had four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren as well as one great great grandchild.
In honoring Geneva’s last wishes, there will be no service. She wished to be cremated and in true Geneva style said “If they couldn’t come see me when I was alive, I don’t want them to come see me when I’m dead”.
The family has made plans to have a private Memorial Service at a later date.
