Jackie Carver, Sr., 78 of Bagley, passed away Sept. 6, 2025.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having served from 1967-1969. While serving his country, he was recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with Two Bronze Stars, the Silver Star and a Purple Heart. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Dora. He was an avid Auburn football fan. He loved his toys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Marjorie Carver and his sister, Gail Carver Riley.
Survivors include his sons, Dale Carver, Jr. and wife Sharon and Lesley Jay Carver; grandchildren, Tyler Carver, Jayda Carver, Riley Carver, Christopher Jay Carver, Suzanna Marie Cox, Kaitlyn Willis and Olivia Akins; great grandchildren, Marlee and Maggie Willis; siblings, Eugene Carver and wife Pat, Judith Carver and Larry Carver; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday Sept. 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. John Foles will officiate. Burial will military honors follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday 6-8 pm.
