Mrs. Irene Sue Casey, age 85, of Morrison, TN, (Shady Grove Community) passed away on Saturday September 06, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born on July 26, 1940 in Sutton, West Virginia to the late John Blair Dixon and Emma Hattie Johnson Dixon. She loved collecting Santa figurines, bird watching, and especially spoiling her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband J.B. Casey, Jr., brothers James Dixon, Charles Dixon, Bob Dixon, Bill Dixon, Gene Dixon, sisters Edna Dixon, Avalene Brown, and Jenny Fields, and son-in-law Donnie Hopkins.
Survivors include her children Tim (Sy) Casey, Emma Casey, Kim Casey Hopkins, grandchildren Jessica Lowe, Casey Hopkins, Jared Dodds, Kolby Dossa, Joseph Casey, Jalen Casey, and Dylan Casey, greatgrandchildren Jesse Hopkins, Casan Hopkins, Hadley Dodds, Everly Dodds, Kowan Dossa, Zander Lowe, Presley Hopkins, Eloise Dodds, and Declan Songer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews that were very near and dear to her heart.
Memorial services for Mrs. Casey are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2025 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Emil Balliet will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 3:00.
