HAZEL GREEN-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of a New Market man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:54 p.m. Saturday, September 6, has claimed the life of a New Market man.
Matthew S. Williamson, 30, was fatally injured when the 2023 Toyota Tacoma he was driving left roadway, struck a utility pole and caught fire. Williamson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Walker Lane near Hubert Road, approximately four miles northwest of Hazel Green, in Madison County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
