Debra Gayle Potter Tompkins age 67, passed away August 30, 2025, at her home.
She was born December 10, 1957, the daughter of the late William Beverly Potter and Barbara Jean Woodward Blankenship.
She enjoyed caring for many cats, enjoyed gardening, cutting grass, crafting and sewing.
She used to enjoy singing and was in a TV Show, Nashville, she also did two theatre productions, one was “GiGi” and “ A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum”.
She was over the road truck driver all her career.
Mrs. Tompkins is survived by two sons, Derek Nathaniel Tompkins (Megan) of Jackson and Dylan Christopher Tompkins, two grandchildren, Madison Tompkins and Tucker Tompkins, and a brother, Alan Dwayne Potter; and her stepdad, Gregory Blankenship.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Gregory Potter.
A memorial service will be announced later.
