Mr. Glenn Cordell Wilson, age 61, of Arab, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday afternoon, September 2, 2025. Born in South Bend, Indiana, on May 23, 1964, Glenn was the beloved son of the late Noah Cordell Wilson and Patsy Nowick Wilson.
Glenn was a devoted employee at Pilgrim’s Pride, where he worked diligently on the production line. He will be remembered as a loving husband to Cynthia Marie Lytle Wilson and a caring father to his sons, Glenn Wilson, Travis Lee Wilson, and Charles Edward Wilson.
Known for his appreciation of life’s simple joys, Glenn was an avid reader with a special fondness for the works of Louis L’Amour. He delighted in cooking chili for his family and friends and cheered passionately for professional football. Glenn’s heart belonged to Alabama football, and he rarely missed watching a game. Prior to his health becoming a serious concern, Glenn was faithful to and regularly attended his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Patsy Wilson.
Honoring Glenn’s wishes, the family has arranged for cremation with no public services. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting the family during this time.
