A graveside service for Norman West Boggess III, 75, of Hartselle, will be Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 1:30PM with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 12:00PM ~ 1:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Boggess was born on February 20, 1950 to Norman and Evelyn Boggess in Alabama. He died on Friday, August 29, 2025.
Mr. Boggess was a loving father and grandfather. He loved to fish, spending time with his kids and grandkids, and he loved his dog “Millie.” He also loved gardening, and he was a big history buff. Mr. Boggess worked as a truck driver and retired from AAA Cooper.
Survivors Include:
Two sons: Mark Ardin (Leslie Chittam) and Norman Boggess IV (Jackie)
Daughter: Virginia Patterson (Mark Miller)
Brother: Roger Boggess (Christy)
Two sisters: Emily Williams (Earl), and Cynthia Breeding (Darrell)
Four grandchildren: Georgia Boggess, Emily Dutton, Jackson Boggess, and Mariana Boggess.
Great Grandchild: Levi Boggess
Fishing buddy and friend: Carlton Patterson
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
