Jeremy Joe Donnelly, 46, of Arab Alabama, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Ardmore, Alabama.
Jeremy was born June 5, 1979 to Mary Donnelly Patterson and Kevin Barnes in Flint Michigan. He graduated Westwood Heights High School in 1997 and then went on to earn several certifications including electrical certification, diesel engine certification, and HVAC certification. Following his certifications, Jeremy put his knowledge to good use and worked as a diesel repair supervisor.
Jeremy was a people person and loved by many. While he was very funny, he also had a very serious side. Whenever he did something, he did it well. He was good at everything! He loved his momma’s cooking and had a special interest in anything mechanical, especially drones and remote-control cars. Jeremy was a caring and giving person and full of life.
Jeremy is survived by his sons, Colby and Grayson Donnelly; his mother, Mary Patterson; his brother, Jimmy Patterson, and his uncle Bernard Donnelly.
Jeremy is proceeded in death by his sisters, Rachole and Tarah Patterson; niece, Kayla Patterson; and his grandparents.
