Tonya Lynn Smith, 48, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Franklin County, AL to L.D. Ables and Nell Honeycutt Ables. She loved her dogs.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.
She is survived by two children, Mackenzie Toutant and Jonathan Smith; her significant other for the past 18 years, Robert Hester; her father, L.D. Ables; two half-brothers, Larry Mills and Gary Mills and her aunt, Dean Pierce (Benford).
She was preceded in death by her son, Gavin Smith and her mother.
