Mrs. Anna Louise Pelham, age 81, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Overton County Health and Rehab in Livingston, Tennessee.
Born February 24, 1944, to the late James “Jack” and Lucille Lewis, Ann grew up in Overton County. She worked faithfully throughout her life, including at Livingston Shirt Factory, Perdue Farms, and the Tennessee Department of Safety, before enjoying retirement.
Ann was a people person. She’d never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her kind heart and generous spirit touched countless lives. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of Cumberland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church as well as West End Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tommy Pelham; and is survived by her daughter, Ginger (Steve) Ricketts; stepson, Jeff (Donna) Pelham; siblings, Faye Key, James (Margie) Lewis, Ralph (Laura) Lewis, Danny (Cindy) Lewis, and Bruce (Tammy) Lewis; grandson, Cody Ricketts; step-grandson, Casey Pelham; and step-great-grandson, Easton Pelham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends who were blessed to know her.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, at 3:00 P.M. on August 30, 2025, at Morrison Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Deweese officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Stand Up To Cancer, or your favorite charity.
