Janice Lyle passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Guntersville, Alabama, just one day before her 82nd birthday. Daughter of Leroy Lyle and Birgie Evelyn Turner, she was born on August 24, 1943, in Somerville, Alabama, Janice lived a life rooted in the beauty of her surroundings and the joy of family.
Janice was a devoted mother to her two sons, Patrick Johnson (Angela) and Steve Johnson (Shelley). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Tyler Johnson, Jasmine Johnson (Trebvor), Aubrey Johnson, Kaleigh Johnson, and Emma Johnson —and her great-grandchildren: Jaycen Pounders, Draven Bartlett, Evelyn Thomas, and Piper Bodine. Each generation carries forward the warmth and spirit that Janice brought into their lives.
