Johnie Mike “Mickey” Collum, 75, was born in Alabama and passed into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his residence. He was retired from Tiffin Motor Homes after more than forty years where he was a foreman in the cabinet shop. He was saved as a child and was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and was loved by everybody who knew him. He had a kind, gentle and humble spirit and loved his family more than life itself.

Services will be Tuesday, August 26, 6 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, MS with Rev. Brian Weems and Rev. Glenn Bridgmon officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 26, 4-6 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL, will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Myra Hester Collum; children, Ethan & Brittney (Collum) Humphres and Robert & Aftan (Collum) Kelly; grandchildren, Myka & Miriam Humphres and McKenzie, Addison & Kylar Kelly; one brother, Gerald Collum & his wife, Brinda, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie Ben and Ethel Pendegraph Collum and a brother, Carl Collum.

Pallbearers will be Brent Collum, Hugh Johnston, Russ Hester, Clayton Hellums, Brandon Scott, Matthew Hester, Andrew Hester and Daniel Wooten.
