A visitation for Laverne will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 123 Church St NE, Decatur, Alabama 35601, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.

Laverne will be laid to rest in Burning Tree Memorial, 4919 Marsha Ave, Decatur, AL 35603.
