Lilah Stokes, 85, of Ripley passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at her residence. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 PM Tuesday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at Garner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Stokes, a homemaker, was a member of God’s Missionary Church.
The wife of James Stokes, she is survived by two daughters Dora Faye Stokes of Ripley and Joann Moore of Gates; a brother Charles Heartley of New London, NC; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
