Pervin D. Norris, 80 of Bagley, passed away Thursday Aug. 21, 25 at his residence.
Mr. Norris was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Sayre. He was retired from ACIPCO, where he worked at the No. 2 shed. Among the great loves of his life were his cows, his tractor and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Ruth Norris; great grandchildren, Atlas and Edi Boyd; sister and brother-in-law, Nonnie and J.D. Mathews and brother-in-law, Tommy Sutton.
Survivors include the girl he called his “Babydoll” for 35 years, Joann Norris; his children, Karey Norris (Renee) and Candy Blackmon (Brian); stepchildren, Rob Sickafoose, Greg Sickafoose and Jamey Sickafoose (Karen); grandchildren, Cory Sickafoose, Dylon Blackmon (Livie), Cole Sickafoose, Chandler Sickafoose (Ivey), Bailey Boyd (Austin), Cooper Norris, Mackenzie Sickafoose and Fisher Sickafoose; siblings, Linda Skovira (Gary) and Robbin Brady (Chuck); special friend, John Kersh; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to express their thanks of the staff of Enhabit Hospice of Jasper, especially nurses, Gail and Christian, and to Rev. Kent Nelson
Funeral services will be Sunday Aug. 24, 25 at 1:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Kerry Turner and Rev. Kent Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
