Mrs. Lavonda Kay Thompson, 60 of Cedar Bluff, AL, passed away August 20, 2025 at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Joey Thompson, her sons; Brandon (Mandy) Thompson, and Matthew (Monica) Thompson, her twin sister, Wanda Fay Vernon, her grandchildren; Braelyn and Liam Thompson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Donald and Jane Smith, and her brother; Donald Smith Jr. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 30, at 10:00 am, at Unity Hill Baptist Church, 11610 County Road 31, Centre AL, 35960.
