Brenda Sue Collins, age 64, a resident of Lynnville, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg.
Brenda was born on March 9, 1961, in Canada. In 1979, she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Richard Collins, with whom she shared forty-five wonderful years.
She was of the Catholic faith and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Brenda was the heart of her family, always bringing loved ones together and offering endless encouragement. She inspired her children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams wholeheartedly and was the kind of mother every child could hope for.
Brenda found joy in caring for her chickens and eagerly awaited the arrival of hummingbirds each year so she could tend to them. She loved nurturing her plants and garden, creating beauty and life all around her home. In recent years, she and Richard enjoyed spending time fishing together. Above all, Brenda will be remembered as the steady rock of her family, whose love and devotion will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard “Rick” Collins of Lynnville; her son, Richard Collins of Lynnville; her daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Afflerbaugh of Victoria, Minnesota; and her cherished grandchildren, Lilah, Gracie, Alice, and Charlotte Afflerbaugh.
