Roy Edward Brock Jr. passed away at age 65 on August 16th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cholangiocarcinoma, a bile duct liver cancer.
Roy (Junior) was born in Acworth Georgia on October 19,1959 to Roy Edward Sr and Clara Bell Brock. He graduated from North Cobb High School in Acworth, Georgia. Roy resided in Randolph, MS with his wife Mary Anne for the last 28 years. He was a beloved husband, dad, papaw, brother and uncle. Roy was known for his knowledge of building, remodeling and repair. He worked in commercial and residential construction his whole life. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his wife and family. He enjoyed gardening with his 1952 Farmall tractor, camping, Sunday NASCAR Races and his constant companion, Piper, a 9-yr old chocolate yorkie.
Roy left behind his wife, Mary Anne Brock, 7 children, Victoria Warren (Max) Randolph MS, Zach Brock (Nickie) Marietta GA, Chuckie Spradling (Courtney) Water Valley, MS, Zane Brock (Hannah) Marietta GA, Taylor Brock (Deb) Marietta GA, Hunter Brock (Stacey) Holly Springs GA, Hunter Highfield Randolph MS. 20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, two sisters Linda Davis, Dalla GA, and Joy Hullet (Richard) Pontotoc, MS. Sister in-law Yolanda Wood (Grant) St Petersburg FL. Two nephews Jeff Morris (Sarah) Dallas GA and Chris Hullett Pontotoc MS and one niece Alicia Brooks (Cliff) Woodstock GA. 5 great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Roy Edward senior and Clara Bell Brock.
Pallbearers will be his sons Zach Brock, Chuckie Spradling, Taylor Brock, Hunter Brock, Hunter Highfield, and his nephew Jeff Morris.
Honorary pallbearers are Chris Hullett, Brody Smith, Max Warren and Zane Brock.
Visitation will be Tuesday August the 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home Pontotoc MS and from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Wednesday August the 20th with the funeral following. The service will be conducted by pastor Joe Gullick. The burial will be after the service at the Toccopola cemetery in Toccopola MS. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is handling the services.
