Ellaween Stone Ables, 71, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Tremont, MS and was a factory worker, working as a seamstress. Mrs. Ables attended Jordan Hill Church of God of Prophecy.
Services will be Tuesday, August 12, 3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS. with Bro. Donnie Wooten and Bro. James Herman Gray officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Dennis Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years- Jerry Ables; two children- Stephen Ables (Trish) and Dana Oliver; three grandchildren- Ashton, Aronn and Evann Oliver; one great-grandson- Kingston Hester; five sisters- Carolyn Lasher (Doug), Linda Bostick (Steve), Brenda Davis, Debra Scott (Clifton) and Joan Emerson (Gary); two brothers- Kenneth Stone and Michael Stone (Angie) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Tellie Nichols Stone and a granddaughter, Carly Maria Smith.
Pallbearers will be Jason Rosser, Robbie Smith, Pat Cochran, Chris Cochran, Greg Scott and John Scott
