ATHENS-Thursday morning marked an exciting milestone as Bocar US senior staff rolled up their sleeves for a meaningful cause – the official kick-off of the Bocar Family Foundation in the Limestone County facility. Their mission? Helping the Athens-Limestone County Family Resource Center get organized and ready to serve their community even better.
The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The resource center had recently welcomed the Learn to Read Council under their responsibility, but with new programs come new challenges – like transforming a chaotic office space into an organized hub of activity. That’s where the Bocar US team stepped in.
Instead of letting administrative tasks pull staff away from their core mission, the Bocar volunteers tackled the sorting and organizing head-on. Their hands-on approach meant the resource center’s dedicated team could keep their focus exactly where it belongs: on the families and individuals who depend on their vital services.
