Betty Batrum Hovis age 87 of Athens passed away Tuesday at her residence. She was born April 11, 1938 in Limestone County, she was a homemaker and a member of Harvest church of Christ. Services will be 3 pm Saturday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Greg Tucker officiating, burial to follow at Ford’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 pm at Spry Funeral Home.
