Mrs. Connie Rae Ward CatoConnie Rae Cato was born October 16th, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Millard Dale Cato, January 8th, 1965 (Elvis Presley’s birthday per her request). They continued on to raise a rambunctious family in Malden, Missouri. She passed in the afternoon of August 1st, 2025. She was an irreplaceable wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, as well as an adored great grandmother. She led a life that was filled with faith, love, and wisdom. She was preceded in death by her mother (Nora Ward), and siblings (Barbara, Shirley, Tom, and James). She is survived by her caring and faithful husband (Millard Dale Cato), her five courageous daughters; (Bejuana Regene Cato), Dalene Renae (Larry Matthews), Connie Marie Cato, Nelliene Star (Abel Mercado), Tabitha Ann (Tommy Cowart), and son (Robert Cato). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren. Her presence will remain in our hearts, minds, and lives. May her memory be a blessing, a privilege, and a gift to every person she has ever loved and known. She will always be missed and never forgotten. May she rest in peace up above with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Visitation will be on Sunday August 3, 2025, from 11 AM until 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday August 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with burial to follow in the Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery.
